These take place every Sunday at 9.30 a.m. in the Kirk
and every second and fourth Sunday at 9.30 a.m. in the Episcopal Church.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Open to children in the village from 9.30am-10.30am every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month.
 

BANKS

The Royal Bank of Scotland is open in Ballachulish on a Tuesday and Friday from 9.30am – 1.30pm. The travel bank Royal Bank of Scotland also comes to Duror on a Friday at the Stewart Hotel road-end from 12.55 till 1.10pm.


NEW START HIGHLAND

Duror shop has a Post office on a Tuesday morning or alternatively, Ballachulish Post Office is open Monday 9am-5pm, Tuesday 9am-5pm, Wednesday 9am-12pm, Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday 9am-12pm

SKIP

The council skip service will cease to operate from Tues 29th March.  Last collection from 10.15am until 10.45am. Have a look on the Highland Council website - special uplifts section. There are companies who will collect items for free as long as the items are dry, in working order and good condition and soft furnishings have a fire certificate.

  • Green bins (non-recyclable waste) are collected every 2nd Wed from beg April
  • Blue bins (plastic/paper/tins) are collected every 2nd Wed from beginning April
  • Recycling can be done in Ballachulish (by Tourist Information Centre),
  • Glencoe (by Fire Station), Onich Petrol Station and the main centre is in
  • Fort William (Ben Nevis Industrial Estate) which takes everything including garden waste,
  • Batteries and electrical goods.
