Interested in all things Coast and Marine? - Check out the Coastal Communities Network

What is the Coastal Communities Network?

The Coastal Communities Network (CCN) is a coalition of over 30 community-based groups dedicated to protecting, restoring, and sustainably managing Scotland’s coastal and marine environments. Driven by the belief that local communities hold the power to create lasting change, the network empowers member groups to address pressing issues such as salmon farming, marine plastic pollution, and habitat restoration. By supporting local biodiversity initiatives, building capacity for community leadership, and advocating for local representation in policy decisions, CCN strives toward a vision of clean, healthy, and biodiverse seas that enhance both marine life and the livelihoods and well-being of Scottish citizens.
