Have your say on how land and buildings could be used or improved in the Highlands
The Highland Council are currently preparing the new Highland Local Development Plan (HLDP). As part of this process, they are undertaking a Call for Ideas.
These ideas will help to inform policies, development requirements and placemaking priorities in the new HLDP.
The Call for Ideas survey is now open and will run until 18 September 2026:
Call for Ideas Survey | The Highland Council
As your community council area has a registered Local Place Plan (LPP), any proposals for the use and development of land and buildings within your community as included in the LPP are already being considered by Council officers in preparing the HLDP.
If relevant, you are welcome to submit further information on any of these proposals or put forward new development ideas for your area through the Call for Ideas.
If you are unable to complete the Call for Ideas survey online, then a paper form can be made available.
If you have any queries or require assistance, please contact: HLDP@highland.gov.uk.
