We've had it confirmed from the Highland Council Road Safety Officer that the road speed will be reduced from open road to 40 miles per hour. The Community Council tried to get the speed lowered to 20 mph, but this was as low as the Highland Council were prepared to reduce it.

However, on the Community Council's suggestion, they have agreed to put up Quiet Route and No Through Road signage, which reminds road users that this is a multi-use road and they need to be aware of pedestrians, cyclists, riders, and other road users.
